About the Award

ARTist of the Month is a recognition program to honor staff members of Seattle Children’s for their service or special contributions to the hospital and their commitment to Children?s Community Standards ? Accountability, Respect and Teamwork, or ART. Nominations may be made by co-workers, volunteers, parents and other friends of the hospital with whom staff interact.

A nominated staff member should be someone whose consistent efforts and quiet dedication are an inspiration to others and whose commitment serves Children?s mission and values.

Seattle Children's provides healthcare for the special needs of children regardless of race, sex, creed, ethnicity or disability. Financial assistance for medically necessary services is based on family income and hospital resources and is provided to children under age 21 whose primary residence is Washington, Alaska, Montana or Idaho.
